Collection: The Cami Claudel Collection

Camille Claudel was a sculptor whose hands created extraordinary things, and whose name spent a century in the shadow of the men around her. This collection bears her name because I believe the women who make things deserve to be remembered for their work.

Every piece here is handwoven from cane, made at my kitchen table in St. Louis. Cane webbing, cord, and patience are woven into bags and earrings made to live together. No two pieces are alike because hands don't repeat themselves.

I started weaving as a maker's hobby, and it became something more: a collection honoring women of the art world whose work deserved far more credit than their lifetimes gave them. This is Camille's chapter.

Each piece is made to order. Utility and beauty were never competing ideas.
